Irfan's Role
Irfan joins the 11 for Health in Pakistan project as a volunteer coach. Being a professional in software engineering, Irfan concentrates on understanding the course details and requirements and helping the coaching team implement the course content as demanded. Beyond his technical prowess, Irfan brings a distinct perspective as a father, adept at connecting with children and stimulating their interest in sports.

As a participant, I will be able to apply my skillset and creativity to systematically enhance children’s health and football skills.”
Introduction of M. Irfan Khan
Irfan, a sports enthusiast, is a brown belt in Karate. He is also good at a diverse range of sports, especially table tennis, football and cricket. Representing his school and university, Irfan has participated in many zonal-level championships in table tennis. His major achievements include:
-Gold Medal in table tennis (single, doubles) Zonal Championship in 2004
-Gold Medal in table tennis (single, doubles) Zonal Championship in 2005
-Gold Medal in table tennis (single, doubles & team) Zonal Championship in 2006
-Silver Medal, Table Tennis, Provincial University Championship 2005
-Bronze Medal, Table Tennis National University Championship Pakistan (88 universities) in 2006
In addition to table tennis, Irfan dedicated substantial time to football and cricket training. As the captain and defender of his football team, he earned a reputation as a penalty specialist. In cricket, he carved out an aggressive batting style, securing his position as an opener. Throughout his university sports career, Irfan has developed exceptional leadership and coaching skills.
After acquiring his Master’s in IT degree from Gomal University in 2006, Irfan transitioned into a successful software engineering career. In his spare time, he is passionate about community engagement, especially with children in sports training, which led him to join the 11 for Health in Pakistan project.
