Mahnoor's Role
Leveraging her rich experiences in coaching sports teams at schools, Mahnoor is playing the role of a coach in the 11 for Health project. Her goal is to keep children physically fit and mentally healthy for better growth. Mahnoor aspires to gain a comprehensive understanding of small-sided ball games and football coaching methodologies, which she can utilize to foster superior athletic performance among her students.
“Children should be encouraged to participate in as many physical activities as possible to increase their stamina. I participate in this project to enhance my experiences as both an athlete and a coach.”
Introduction of Mahnoor Alam
Mahnoor Alam embarked on her sports career in 2014. She has since evolved into a distinguished athlete, representing her region and nation in a variety of sports including hockey, football, volleyball, basketball, and cycling. Her dedication and prowess have earned her numerous medals, and certificates. In addition to her national accomplishments, Mahnoor has also made her mark on the international stage as a player of Australian football. Her major achievements are as follows:
– 2018: Gold Medal in Cricket at the Defence Day Tournament.
– 2022: Bronze Medal in Discus Throw at the Potohar Festival 2022.
– 2023: Gold Medal in the Pakistan Australian Football League (PAFL).
– 2023: Volleyball Trophy at the Twin City Women Championship.
– 2024: Silver Medal in Hockey at the 3rd Star Super League.
– 2024: Bronze Medal in Volleyball at the 3rd Star Super League.
Since 2022, Mahnoor has been leveraging her expertise to coach the cricket and badminton teams at the Government Degree College for Women, further contributing to the development of sports in her community.
