Mona's Role

Mona holds the multiple roles of Project Manager, Research Assistant, and UI Designer in the “11 for Health in Pakistan” project. She assists the principal investigator in developing the project schemes. Throughout project implementation, her key responsibilities include:
 -Helping to establish the project team and coaching team; outlining the duties and responsibilities of each team member
 -Creating standardized workflows for pre-test, post-test, and course delivery; participating in data collection and organizing the daily test tasks
 -Interacting with various stakeholders and assisting the principal investigator with correspondence by creating documents, emails, presentations, and videos
 -Designing the project posters and building the website; composing the team member introductions and producing newsletters
 -Managing the YouTube Official Channel and the WeChat Public Account (Chinese); collaborating with the principal investigator to develop project promotion strategies

“Joining the “11 for Health in Pakistan” project is a significant milestone in my professional development. This is my first time working closely on a non-profit project with a team from a different culture. Despite encountering numerous challenges, this experience provided me with a deeper and more intuitive understanding of how to mobilize various stakeholders to promote social welfare development.”

Introduction of Mona

Mona graduated from the Department of Environmental Science and Engineering at Fudan University, China. After obtaining her BSc degree, she embarked on her professional career at one of China’s largest education consulting firms, where she worked until she was promoted to the position of department director. To this day, Mona has accumulated 13 years of experience in the education consulting industry. She began her entrepreneurial journey in 2023 by co-founding a studio that provides education consultancy.

Throughout her career, Mona has cultivated a broad perspective and gained in-depth knowledge of fundamentals and cutting-edge developments across the fields of science, engineering, technology, business, and design. She has also amassed rich experience in team building, project management, in addition to having excellent writing and communication skills. These experiences and skills make her a versatile professional who can engage in various functions related to stakeholder communication, task management, team building, and media promotion within this project. Additionally, Mona is adept at handling unexpected situations, acting quickly, and coming up with workable solutions.

Ever since she was a teenager, Mona has been passionate about participating in international exchange programs. She once represented Shanghai high school students during a visit to Hamburg, Germany. Later on, Mona worked part-time as a translator during vacations in her college years, providing interpretation and translation services for various events such as industry exhibitions and product launches. In addition, Mona has gained a profound comprehension of the customs and cultures of North Africa, the Middle East, South Asia, and Central Asia. This enables her to interact and work together smoothly with people from these areas, as well as resolve potential conflicts and disputes.

Mona’s wide-ranging interests extend beyond her professional life. Since her university days, Mona has actively participated in sports and cultural activities. She has three years of training in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, and regularly engages in strength and conditioning training. Additionally, Mona is passionate about dance and gardening. Her strong learning abilities allow her to quickly delve into any field she wishes to explore further. Therefore, in this project, she also takes the lead in designing project posters and creating the project website.
