Coach Training Session Held and Standardized Workflow Set Up

Last weekend, we successfully held the final coach training session at the XI Star Cricket Ground in G-9 Sector. At the beginning of the training, Head Coach Chaman provided the coaching team with a detailed explanation on the newly implemented standard work procedures and performance evaluation criteria. These new rules will be piloted starting this week.

Over the past few weeks, the project team has meticulously observed the coaches’ performance and collected feedback from principals and students. Based on these feedbacks, we have identified some common issues in the coaching process and discussed pertinent solutions. As the project expands, achieving institutionalized management and improving operational processes has become increasingly important. Under the guidance from the Danish expert team, the Project Manager together with the Principal Investigator and Head Coach, have gradually developed standardized workflows and assessment criteria in different project phases. Additionally, a customized training plan was created for the local teams.

After that, the coaching team conducted a rehearsal of the remaining six-week course contents (Week 9-11). Every activity was practiced to ensure that the coaches could master them proficiently. Here is a video showcasing the coach training session.

We believe that through these efforts, our coaches will be able to examine the shortcomings in their coaching process and enhance the quality of their coaching, to get better prepared for the next phase of the project implementation and promotion.
